The boys have made a good start to the season in both leagues and narrowly missed out on progressing to the 2nd round proper of the F.A Youth Cup only to be beaten by last years' quarter finalists league 1 Norwich City on penalty kicks.

We are hopeful the players continue to develop as they have done since the start of pre season in July.

There has been numerous professional clubs showing intrest in some of the players and these boys will be going to these clubs on a trial basis in the coming weeks with a view to them earning professional contracts.

Academy captain Ellis Wilson Joesph and top scorer Roy Odiaka have both been involved with the first team and these two will hopefully be the first of many Academy graduates to make the step up to senior football with the Dulwich Hamlet 1st team.

Goalkeeper Adam Molloy has been through two succsesful trials with the England u18 schoolboy team and he is now in the last 30 and only one more trial away from making the England squad.

Below are the boys currently enrolled in the academy.

Sam Freeman, 17, Goalkeeper
Agile keeper, with good reflexes. A very good shot stopper who communicates with the back line well.

Edward Andoh-Dadzie, 16, Defender
Has been a regular in the Academy schoolboy teams for the past 3 seasons. Is comfortable anywhere across the back four, his strength and pace are his main attributes, but he also has very sound technical ability.

Michael Kadis, 17, Defender
An accomplished right back who distributes the ball very well. Michael has only recently joined the Academy in he's 2nd and final year and it is testimony to his ability just how quickly he has slotted into the squad.

A tall rangy athlete. Femi joined the Academy halfway through the 07/08 season. Originally a forward, Femi was soon converted to centre half, where his impressive use of the ball quickly became a plus for the side.

Manny has been with us for 3 years and has made steady progress each season. A born leader who gives nothing less than 100% when he plays. He is extremely quick across the ground.
